Now that i am grinding out the 5.40 level i the profit will move a bit faster then at the lower levels and i had to make such a big jump with nothing between the dollar games and the 5 dollar games but now that were at the 5 dollar games profit should come in steadily. Although i made an early jump this time i will wait till i have atleast 12 buyins to the 10.80 games so the bankroll must be in the area of 130+ for me to move up.

What to do with those FPP on PokerStars

From the low limit grinders all the way up to the seasoned online pros everyone earns FPP when they play on stars. Its stars form of rakeback (even though many people complain that they get nothing from stars). If you are a Supernova or a Supernova Elite then this article really isnt for you as you should should know what to do with your points simply buy the $4k 250,00 bonus and use the milestone bonuses that you get from Pokerstars. If you are a grinder that can't quite make it to the Supernova level there are many ways to get your money.

One of the simpliest and my personal favorite would be to use 210 fpp and buy into the 20 man turbo sng that stars runs to the Sunday 200k. This tournament pays a seat to the top 6 players. Once you win a seat you can simply unregister from the tournament and get your 11T$. This is one of the simpliest and easiest way to get money out of those fpp. Many people think that the 5400 sat to the sunday million is the best way to use your points but your not going to win every one of those that you play and doing the math:

Say you win 1 of every 3 of the 5400 for 215 T$ that means your putiing up 16200
That 16200 would work out to just over 77 buyins to the 210 fpp tournament and out of that 77 you would only have to win 20 to win more then the amount you would have won at the 5400 sat.

Persoanlly i dont think the math lies the 210 although full of donks chasing a couple of bucks is a far better tournament to use your fpp in then the major buyins like th 5400. So if you are good a 2 table low buyin turbos like the 1.75 18mans and the 3.40 18 mans that these tournaments should be a cake walk for you and an easy money maker for you.

Use my advice and who knows maybe using these tournaments youll be able to grind your way up to the point that you could be a supernova getting milestone bonuses rather then trying to grind out the 210 fpp

Getting Close to Moving up

Things are really getting close to moving up in levels and I am playing really good. Once I move up if I can maintain this win rate over this many games I will be able to profit around 160 at the 5 dollar level which is great in just a short amount of time to play 120 games.

Originally I made this blog to just keep my results and help me keep on track and not take shots. Now after some thought I decided that I'm going to put some of my toughts down in this to give people something to read from time to time. Things mainly dealing with poker and other gambling related topics. A little side note I am not very good at cash games but feel that maybe this blog will help me stay focused. So I am going to keep updates on my cash game play. ( I dont use a tracker so all i will be able to post is total profit or loss)

(i usually tend to play limit 6 max around .50/1 and i also sometimes play HU cash and NL 6 max mostly 25nl and 10nl)

Just a update status on the goals

Double or Nothing (DoN):
Starting with 10 buyins to the $1.15 and building from there with only the DoN
Currently 9 wins and 4 loss
Total profit +$3.05
with this ill start updating ever couple of days i am looking around around 60-70 dollars total to start running the $5 DoN and at that point profit will start moving up faster becuase there is such a big jump from $1 to $5 it kinda makes things difficult to start but once the $5 level is reached profit should move up rather quickly from there

Welcome and My Goals

I would like to welcome everyone to my new blog. I was advised to do this by a friend and I feel this is a good way of keeping me goal oriented.

A little about myself I am currently a 20 year old college student from central New York. I am studying to go into casino managment which is why I like poker and got interested in poker.

My goals for this blog are to show my progression through the game both live and online.
Goals:

To take 10 buyins at the 1.15 double or nothing sngs on PokerStars and run the bankroll up to a working bankroll (hopefully around 1k) playing only the double or nothing sngs.

Accept a coaching agreement to take my game to the next level and start running at the $13 6 mans for a group of backers and running up to a working bankroll for them with a profit of over 1k.

I am currently SilverStar status on PokerStars and at the minimum i would like to stay at this level but current goal is to move up to GoldStar status.

Ill throw one live goal in here which would be to be able to track my live play both poker and the casino table games (sometimes you have to play while waiting on the list for a game) basically to try to turn a profit of 5k (no time limit since im a student it is hard to get time to play live)

Those are my goals for now and once these goals are met i will add new ones in there which will basically be just additions onto the current ones.
